These Terms govern your use of GymPal. Please read them, along with our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance

By using GymPal, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use GymPal.

3. Health Disclaimer

GymPal provides general fitness information and AI-generated suggestions for informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for a physician, physical therapist, or certified trainer. Consult a qualified professional before starting any exercise program, especially if you have an injury or medical condition. You exercise at your own risk and are responsible for using proper form and appropriate weights. Stop and seek medical attention if you feel pain, dizziness, or discomfort.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You can use core features without an account; some features (the AI Coach and cloud backup) require one.

5. Subscriptions

GymPal Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that unlocks the AI Coach. Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period (including any free trial), it renews automatically at the then-current price. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

6. Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the app: no attempting to break, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service, and no using it for unlawful purposes.

7. Intellectual Property

GymPal and its content are owned by us or our licensors. Exercise data is provided under open licenses (free-exercise-db, public domain; wger, AGPL-3.0) as noted in the app.

8. AI-Generated Content

AI Coach responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete. Use your judgment and the Health Disclaimer above before acting on any suggestion.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

GymPal is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damages arising from your use of the app.

10. Termination

You may stop using GymPal at any time and delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
